10/10 Professor: thank you for completing and submitting your reflection on John Jay and the Bible. John Jay clearly believed that “It is to be regretted, but so I believe the fact to be, that except the Bible there is not a true history in the world.” This, as you point out in your reflective analysis, corresponds with Paul’s Letter in 2 Timothy 2:16-17. Thus, Jay's commitment to the exhaustive truth of the Bible reflects Paul's view of Scripture in his letter.

20/20 Professor: thank you for completing and submitting your analysis of the Thanksgiving Proclamation of 1777 and All Things Sacred. You did a nice job responding to the prompt here. As you read, Christianity has the philosophical and theological resources to establish a nation that protects the freedom of religious belief, even if a belief is false. Love does not force religious belief, but allows the freedom to pursue the truth, so that it may be found.

10/10 Professor: you did a nice job reflecting upon Samuel Davies. As practicing Christians our most important job is to emulate the teachings of Jesus Christ in both our words and actions. We cannot expect to gain followers for the Gospel and the Good News if we ourselves do not model these teachings to others.
